Reimagining a monetization platform that empowers publishers
Built to meet the needs of publishers today and tomorrow, Microsoft Monetize melds the strength of AI with unique platform features. By streamlining tasks and processes while surfacing meaningful insights, the platform allows you to discover the information you need to make informed decisions quickly and drive revenue growth.
Our new homepage centralizes all things monetization. Pulling in the most relevant information, it offers integrated performance metrics to uncover revenue and boost yield, flags issues proactively and points toward a resolution, and fast-tracks common workflows so you can expedite your day.
Let’s get into the good stuff:
- Performance highlights deliver a high-level summary of key revenue trends across areas like Open Exchange, Managed Line Items, and Prebid Server Premium – your most important numbers at the top of your screen. Now you can spend less time pulling granular reports for daily/weekly performance checks and directly link to deeper details on the Insights tab.

- Revenue and troubleshooting insights from our popular Monetize Insights tool have been integrated into the homepage. Using machine learning, the Insights dashboard lets you access and act on data, analytics, and reporting.
- Brand unblock and authorized sellers insights bring visibility to easily overlooked revenue blocks. For example, our internal analysis shows that over a seven-day period, 11% of platform users have brand spend from a blocked category they should consider reviewing and 15% detected one or more ads.txt or app-ads.txt issues. In the past, gaining that knowledge would have required in-depth analysis or, more likely, resulted in lost advertising revenue.
Today, that’s changed. Inadvertently blocking a brand due to its parent brand category? Now you can review a blocked brand, the bid value amount, and the bid creative via a secure preview and instantly unblock the brand. Impressions being filtered due to ads.txt or app-ads.txt issues? Just review them from the homepage and copy the code snippet to update your file.

- Line item notifications help surface your line items that are missing creative and underdelivering, linking directly to the full list so you can make changes. Every publisher knows how critical it is for line items to be properly set up and delivered on time. Ad ops teams are constantly monitoring to keep things on track, but when multiple line items are in flight, things can get messy. Having a heads up on line item issues can go a long way.

This is just the beginning as we will continue to expand the capabilities of what Copilot can do in Monetize in future releases.
Laying a new foundation for efficient navigation
And last, but certainly not least, we’ve updated our design so you can get more done, including adding tools for better platform recordkeeping:
- The new Monetize navigation adopts a familiar left-hand, vertical layout commonly seen across Microsoft products. Simplified navigation lets publishers move more nimbly through the platform with an overlay of all subsections when hovering over a main section.
- A new History change log provides a historical record of changes made to objects in the platform. Publishers can quickly identify specific changes and revert or edit the change to improve revenue performance and manage troubleshooting. The change log can be filtered by user, object type, and date, sorted by recency, and searched by up to five objects at a time.
